Outstanding Early Achievement Award - 2006

While pursuing her undergraduate degree at East Carolina University, April Lutheran used her passion for design by working for the ECU Schools of Medicine's Facilities Maintenance. Upon her 2003 graduation from ECU with her Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology, April Lutheran joined the team at Bill Clark Homes, LLC in Greenville, North Carolina, which is recognized as one of the Top 100 builders in the United States. Ms. Lutheran is currently the Design Manager and her responsibilities include design of new product lines, developing sales brochures and managing construction plans. April Lutheran has been credited with turning around the design department at Bill Clark Homes and making it a very efficient and profitable part of the business. April has furthered her growth as a designer by also working as a contractor for Lancaster Engineering in Greenville. As noted by her colleagues, April posses management abilities very rarely seen with recent graduates. Ms. Lutheran is currently a member of the American Design Drafting Association and an avid soccer player.
