Outstanding Industrial Technologist - 2004

As a 1987 graduate of Ohio University, Mr. Bauerbach was named the "F. Theodore Paige Outstanding Graduating Senior" award. Beginning his career at ALCOA as a reliability engineer in Evansville IN, Brian was promoted to increasingly responsibly positions at the Evansville facility, and by 2000 was the Fabricated Products Area Manager. In this position, he managed all production, maintenance, engineering, and quality aspects of the $100 million facility.

In his current position, Mr. Bauerbach is General Manager of the Richmond VA Flexible Packaging Division, which accounts for over $250 million in annual sales for ALCOA. He is responsible for the profitable operation of three manufacturing operations, as well as all sales and marketing functions. The total enterprise he manages employs over 800, and has an annual budget of approximately $230 million.
