Thomas C. Hutton is responsible for strategic and tactical leadership in the development, validation, assembly and test of commercial and military aircraft engines at Pratt and Whitney Engine Center. He is the principle manager directing the efforts of some 1600 coworkers to achieve timely and economic production of high reliability aircraft engines.

Mr. Hutton joined Pratt and Whitney some fifteen years ago as a Manufacturing Engineer, and has since earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from Central Connecticut State University. He has experienced rapid advancement through first line and middle management positions, such as Cell leader, Business Unit Manager, Operations Manager and subsequently General Manager. The hallmark of his success is the ability to effectively apply advanced industrial practices to improve product quality, reduce inventory, effect on time delivery and maximize employee participation and gratification.

Mr. Hutton’s continued exercise of his demonstrated leadership characteristics in his present position as General Manager, Engine Center will materially effect the profitability and performance of his company.
