Outstanding Industrial Technologist - 1997

John Myslenski is President of the worldwide Fluid Connectors Group for Parker Hannifin Corporation. The Fluid Connectors Group oversees the manufacturer and sale of hose, fittings, flexible connectors, and instrumentation products used in fluid systems. The Group operates forty-nine manufacturing facilities and serves numerous markets worldwide, including industrial, aerospace, semiconductor manufacturing, marine, transportation, agriculture, medical and pharmaceutical, analytical equipment, construction, and military.

Mr. Myslenski joined Parker Hannifin as a Foreman and rapidly advanced through increasingly responsible positions in manufacturing to become General Manager of the Hose Products Division.

In addition to the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology degree he received in 1973 from Ohio University, he has an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He currently serves as a member of the Ohio University Industrial Technology Advisory Board. John and his wife marsha (Bivens) Myslenski live in Highland Heights, Ohio with their two daughters, Beth and Sarah.
