John Nance is responsible for the implementation of a common quality control process at eight IBM manufacturing facilities around the globe to ensure product quality. His department successfully planned and executed the worldwide strategy for the quality production of IBM's personal computer products, significantly contributing to the profitability of the line.

Mr. Nance started his career with IBM in environmental control of plating processes. He progressed as an industrial engineer, planning the manpower and space requirements for large controllers. Transferring to Quality Control he held increasingly responsible positions in quality management, such as, Quality Engineering Manager, Site Quality Manager, and Worldwide Quality Manager. In these assignments he played a major role in the introduction, certification, and warrantee of new products.

Mr. Nance is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (Construction) and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems.
