Mr. Remfert, as Plant Manger, is responsible for upgrading an Osmonics, Incorporated manufacturing facility through the use of Kanban, Cellular Manufacturing, Point of Use and “New Manufacturing Culture” methods.

Patrick Remfert received his BSIT in 1972 and his MSIT in 1974 from the University of North Dakota. Upon graduation, Johnson Filtration Systems employed him as a Project Engineer. He held increasingly responsible positions at Johnson during his fifteen-year tenure such as Maintenance Manger, Production Control Manager, Regional Operations Manger and ultimately, Plant Manger. In so doing he developed a high level of expertise in the application of MRP II and Cellular Manufacture. Since 1988, Mr. Remfert has utilized his expertise in senior management positions at several moderate size companies introducing new management Technologies as they evolved in recent years. He has been successful in each venture in reducing cost, improving product quality and reducing lead-time to market.

Mr. Remfert is the personification of continued professional development; a review of extra-curricular activity since receiving his Masters Degree shows continued study in some seventeen industrial technology related subjects. His quest for continued professional development and the ability to apply his knowledge makes him well suited to help Osmonics grow and increase profit.
