Edgewater Beach Resort & Travel Information:
The 2007 NAIT Conference will be hosted by the Edgewater Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, on the white sands of Florida's panhandle, and located just 15 minutes from the Panama City Airport. NAIT Conference attendees will enjoy the complimentary attendee breakfast on Friday October 26, generously sponsored by the Edgewater Beach Resort.
- Edgewater Beach Resort is a condo-resort. These are not hotel rooms, so there are some important differences.
- NAIT has arranged for 1-Bedroom, 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom Units.
- Due to a limited number of available rooms in our block on the Edgewater Property, sharing rooms with colleagues and fellow students is highly encouraged. A 3-Bedroom unit can accommodate 6 to 8 students comfortably - at less than $37/night per person , out-the-door! Student chapters take note!
- Beach Tower or Golf Villa? There is a choice between Tower units, which are on the beach in one of three towers, or Golf Villa units, set back from the beach on the condo property but more adjacent to the meeting facility.
- Amenities & Maid Service: 2- and 3-bedroom units have more than one complete bathroom. The condo units are equipped with full kitchens, which can help attendees economize on meals and snacks. There is a grocery store in the immediate area of the resort. Tower units have beach-side balconies. As an additional convenience, the Edgewater will provide limited daily maid service of trash removal, towel exchange and bed linen exchange at no extra charge to NAIT guests.
- Cleaning Deposit & Damage to Units: A cleaning deposit will be charged and used for cleaning beyond normal wear and tear. Use of a unit requiring excessive cleaning or damage to a unit will result in charges to the guests. NAIT will have no responsibility for charges as a result of damage caused by guests or excessive cleaning required due to a guest's use of a unit.
- Overflow Properties: Should NAIT exceed its room block and no other appropriate units are availabel for a NAIT guest, Edgewater's affiliated properties will accommodate NAIT's overflow at the same room rates if comparable units are available. The other properties are adjacent to the Edgewater complex and are the Majestic Beach Resort, Long Beach Resort and Emerald Beach Resort.
- Room Rates: The official NAIT Conference unit rates are as follows:
- Tower: 1-BR - $120; 2-BR - $130; 3-BR - $173
- Golf Villa: 1-BR - $91; 2-BR - $101; 3-BR - $132
- Reserve Rooms Early!: NAIT's room block is guaranteed through October 8, 2007 so make your reservations prior to that date to secure your condo unit. The NAIT room block extends from Tuesday October 23 through Saturday October 27, and the Edgewater Beach Resort will honor room rate for the three days prior and after the NAIT Conference if you need to arrive early or extend your stay.

- Activities: Guests have free access to the health club, and can arrange to use golf and tennis facilities. Fee-based beachside and water activites are also available at the Edgewater and in the area. - Airport Shuttle: The Edgewater offers a shuttle to and from Panama City International Airport. Contact the Edgewater Beach Resort at 1-800-874-8686 for details on arranging a pick-up. Inquire with guest services for your departure ride.
