Survey forms were mailed to 51 institutions with NAIT accredited programs. A total of twenty-five were completed and returned for a 49% return rate. In less than five years, industrial technology programs will have to fill the vacant positions for sixty-seven faculty who will retire. A total of 127 faculty members or 38% of the total Industrial Technology faculty members will retire in less than ten years.
